Mayra Rosales was a Hispanic-American USSBBW who was born on November 6th, 1980 in Texas, United States, where she continued to live. She passed away on February 16th, 2024 at the age of 43. At one point, she was the heaviest living woman at 1036 lb (470 kg). Despite not being a model she is still considered notable for her weight.

In 2008, at her peak weight, she faced capital murder charges for the death of her nephew and falsely confessed in order to protect her sister. A 2012 TLC documentary dubbed her the "Half-Ton Killer." She was eventually cleared of the charges.

Shortly after the murder controversy, she began to lose weight through a combination of dieting and surgery. By 2013, she had dropped 800 lb (363 kg) to hold the Guinness World Record for Most Weight Lost By A Woman, a record formerly held by Rosalie Bradford.

From 2017, she lost a further 82 lb (37 kg) to reach the weight of 154 lb (70 kg).
