In 2014, a fundraising campaign was started to help pay for weight loss surgery on her behalf, but it did not pan out.

In 2020 she appeared on an episode of My 600-Lb Life at 606.7 lb (275 kg) and failed to lose enough weight to receive weight loss surgery.

She passed away on August 6, 2021, aged 30.
