In 2011 (at 750 pounds) she first revealed her intention to become the world's fattest woman. In early 2012 she hit her peak weight of 800 pounds, but afterward, due to worries from her sons regarding her health and her upcoming wedding, she began to lose weight, slimming down to 450 pounds by 2013. However, her husband-to-be was unhappy with her smaller size and split up with her.

Following this, she began to regain weight and was back up to 600 pounds by early 2015, having also found a new feeder. She reaffirmed her goal to become the world's largest woman, but since then has largely disappeared from the media landscape, including the internet.
