In 2014, a fundraising campaign was started to help pay for weight loss surgery on her behalf, but it didn't pan out.

In 2020 she appeared on an episode of My 600-Lb Life at 606.7 pounds and failed to lose enough weight to receive weight loss surgery. She passed away on August 6, 2021.
