Mayra Rosales is a 36-year-old Hispanic USSBBW who lives in Texas. At one point, she was the heaviest living woman at 1036 pounds.

In 2008, at her peak weight, she faced capital murder charges for the death of her nephew and falsely confessed in order to protect her sister. A 2012 TLC documentary dubbed her the "Half-Ton Killer." She was eventually cleared of the charges.

Shortly after the murder controversy, she began to lose weight through a combination of dieting and surgery. By 2013, she had dropped 800 pounds to become the women's world record holder for most weight lost.

As of 2017, she lost a further 82 pounds to reach her current weight of 154 pounds.
