She is considered to be the second heaviest woman in recorded history (after Carol Yager), weighing in at approximately 1100 pounds (499 kg). She passed away on September 25th, 2017 at the age of 37 in Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In February 2017, she was transported to India to undergo bariatric surgery. By the end of April, she managed to get down to 389 pounds (176 kg) and continued to lose on her way to a goal of 220 pounds (100 kg); however, she mostly disappeared from the news until September 2017, when she was reported to have passed away.
