The site was founded in 2002 by [[Heather|HeatherBBW]], whose [http://www.heatherbbw.com site] had transitioned from free to members-only the year prior. Each model who joined the network received their own page under the BigCuties domain.
It has also hosted two multi-girl sites: [[DimensionsGirls]] since 2006 (2006-2010no longer active) and [[BigCutiesBonanza]] since 2007 (2007-presentactive).
Currently, BigCuties offers subscriptions (recurring or nonrecurring) which last one month or three months; on average, it costs $20 per month to subscribe to a model (whether active or retired).
